Accepted Answer

Standard weekly residential lawn mowing starts at $35 to $50 per visit depending on lot size and gate access. One-time mows start at $50, overgrown yard cleanups range from $150 to $450, and bush trimming packages start at $50. Yes. Every quote is 100% free with no obligation. The fastest way is to call or text (661) 888-4723 with your address and a couple photos of your yard. We give you a straight price in minutes — no salesperson, no contract pressure.

Question 3

Is there a contract required for recurring service?

Accepted Answer

No contracts. You choose weekly or bi-weekly service and can pause or cancel anytime. We earn your business every visit, not with paperwork.

Question 4

How often should my lawn be mowed in Bakersfield?

Accepted Answer

During active spring and summer growth (March through October), weekly mowing keeps your lawn healthy and neat. In cooler winter months, bi-weekly or monthly mows work well without stressing dormant grass.

Question 5

Do I need to be home when the crew arrives?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as backyard gates are unlocked and pets are kept inside, our crew completes full mowing, line edging, and blowdown while you are at work. We text before and after every visit.

Question 6

What days and hours do you work?

Accepted Answer

We operate Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Emergency overgrown mows and city code compliance cleanups are available same-week.

Question 7

How fast can you clear an overgrown yard?

Accepted Answer

Most waist-high weed cleanups and city code violation mows are completed in 2 to 4 hours with full trailer haul-away included. Same-week emergency service is available.

Question 8

Is your fertilizer safe for kids and dogs?

Accepted Answer

We use eco-conscious granular feeds and recommend keeping children and pets off treated turf for 24 hours after watering in. We always flag the lawn and leave clear instructions.

Question 9

When is the best time for core aeration in Bakersfield?

Accepted Answer

Spring (April-May) for Bermuda grass and early fall (September-October) for Tall Fescue varieties. Aeration relieves compacted Central Valley clay soil and improves water infiltration by up to 300%.

Question 10

How long does weed control take to work?

Accepted Answer

Noticeable wilting typically occurs within 3 to 7 days, with full root eradication in 10 to 14 days. We use pre-emergent barriers to stop seeds from germinating and selective post-emergents for existing weeds.

Question 11

What areas of Bakersfield do you service?

Accepted Answer

We service all of Bakersfield plus Oildale, Lamont, Edison, Rosedale, Stockdale, Seven Oaks, and surrounding Kern County communities. Our dispatch hub is at 1222 E 18th St, Bakersfield, CA 93305.

Question 12

Do you service commercial properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We maintain office complexes, retail centers, medical clinics, churches, and apartment grounds with dedicated account managers, uniform crews, and monthly Net-30 invoicing. Early morning routes (6:00-8:30 AM) avoid customer disruption.

Question 13

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Perez Lawn Care carries liability coverage for all residential and commercial properties. Note that we provide gardening and lawn maintenance services only — we are not a licensed building contractor.

Question 14

What if I'm not happy with the work?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not pleased with the mowing height, edging, or blowdown cleanup, we return and touch it up free of charge.

Question 15

How do I pay for service?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash, card, and digital payment. Recurring customers are billed after each completed visit — no prepayment required. Commercial accounts receive monthly invoicing.
